New Logo Design for Bryneich Coppice Management

I recently designed this logo for Bryneich Coppice Management. My client asked for a tree illustration like the tree of life, so I designed something that was based on that idea. It was an enjoyable project to work on and my client was happy with the end result.

New Flyer Design for Century Property Services

I recently designed this flyer for Century Property Services, based in Essex and London. This design is focused on their cleaning service, but they also do many other services. This was a great project to work on and my client was very pleased with the design. On this occasion the client organised their own printing. I think they have a strong brand and I wish them well.

I recently designed this flyer for the production of Colonel Anne, which is on at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh this August from 11th/12th and 14th to 19th. This drama is being put on by Duns Players. This was a great project to work on and my client was happy with the end result.

Recent Work - New Logo Design

I recently designed a logo for TDM Electrical Engineering Ltd. This was a good project and the client was happy with the final result. I did a few concepts to chose from, but I did very little amends to the final design so everything was straight forward. I also created a digital letterhead for this client.

Car Valet Flyer Design

Last week I designed and printed a flyer for Motorvalet based in Oldham. Motorvalet valet cars, motorhomes, campervans and vans. This was a good project to work on and the client was very easy to deal with. Overall, I think this was a good job.

House Sign

This week, I did a small project for a friend of mine. It was some vinyl lettering stuck onto the inside of some glass panels. I did a quick layout, then had the vinyl letters cut out by a local signage company, then I fitted the vinyl myself. It only took 10 minutes to fit the vinyl. I worked for 1 year in the sign department of a print shop a few years ago.

Recent Design work from Watson Consultancy

This week I designed a logo for Condor Recycling Ltd based in Grantham. It was quite an interesting project to work on and the client didn't make too many revisions to my design. I did 5 logo options and then created one design taking elements from a couple of them. Overall I am quite happy with the way it has turned out and they were a good company to work with.

Instagram Highlight Icons

This week I designed some Instagram Highlight Icons for a Doctor near Huddersfield. It was quite a tricky project to do because they appear so small, but I think I did a good job of them. My client was happy. If you need any icons designed, don't hesitate to contact me. You can leave me a comment, or click through to my profile page where you can get my contact info.

Brand You

I am currently reading a book called 'Brand You' by John Purkiss and David Royston-Lee. I have found it fairly helpful in breaking down the areas you can build on to improve your brand image. One part that I found particularly helpful was the bit that goes: "The stronger your brand, the more people will value you. They will be pleased that you are working on their project and may pay extra for that feeling of reassurance." As I have been working on branding for other companies, I sometimes forget that I need to develop my own brand. When designing a logo, for example, I have found that I can do a better job if I takes just a few days longer designing. This creates a better design and I can then charge more for that design.
